Gunmen k!ll student and two others in fresh attack in Plateau state

Three persons, including a Bokkos University student were on Thursday night kill&d in a fresh attack on Butura community in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State.


An eyewitness, George Lazarus told Daily Trust that a 200-level student of Computer Science development, was among those kill&d.


It was gathered that the gunmen stormed the community at about 9pm and started shooting continuously. Eyewitnesses told the publication that the killing of the student prompted a protest by students who were subsequently dispersed by personnel of Operation Safe maintaining peace in the area.


Last Sunday, a similar attack was launched on two communities in Mangu and Bokkos LGAs where three people were kill£d.
